Hi! I’m Michelle. I have always loved animals of all sizes. I have grown up with dogs, cats, and even a lizard or two. I believe every pet should have the best care possible, so that’s why I started Dog Days Pet Hotel.

I moved to the Lexington, NC area in 2011 from Buffalo, NY. While working as a full-time art teacher, I would pet sit for neighbors, friends, and family. Now it is my passion to care for your pets like they are my own.

My husband and I now take care of our adopted babies Scout, Roxy, London, & Casper. Scout (a terrier mix) is a rescue from North MeckAnimalRescue. Casper is a rescue we took in after finding us! Roxy is a miniature poodle from Buffalo, NY. London is our cat that I rescued and hand-raised along with his 2 siblings. We also have a tiny farm! 15 chickens and two bunnies
